Three Amuse Workshops in April

In April, 2018 you are welcome to attend 3 felting workshops in Amuse studio.

Wet Felting for Beginners

Saturday, 7th of April, 9 am – 1 pm

No felting background needed.

You will learn the basics of wet-felting using nothing but carded wool, water, soap and your hands, creating four felted products: sitting mat, felted soap, felted ball and a rope necklace.

With this knowledge, you will be able to create many different basic felted items at home and attend any of the advanced courses (handbags, scarfs, slippers, vessels…).

Price: 45 Eur/person

Nuno Scarf Workshop

Friday, 13th of April, 4.30 pm - 8.30 pm

You will create your very own scarf or shawl in nuno technique – wet-felting the softest merino wool to silk fabric (or other suitable cloth, such as linen, cotton gauze etc.) with the possibility of adding silk, flax, bamboo and other fibres. Choose whatever colours and effects you like.

The word ‘nuno’ means ‘cloth’ in Japanese, so ‘nuno felting’ literally means ‘felting trough the cloth’ since carded wool migrates through the fabric and are than inseparably intertwined.

Price: 70 Eur/person

Felted Handbag Workshop

Saturday, 14th of April at 9 am - 5 pm

In this one day workshop you will create your very own handbag using nothing but water, soap and wool.

We will be learning how to felt a handbag from the carded wool without stiching. So your handbag will be totally seamless - inside pockets included.

We also learn different options on how to finish and accessorize the handbags. 

Price: 70 Eur/person

Number of places for all workshop is limited - very small groups. Suitable for adults (and children over 10 years). Workshop will lead by a master wet-felter Anja Musek in her Amuse studio, Cankarjev trg 6, Škofja Loka, Slovenia.

In Slovene and English! All the material is included in the price.
