​Group Sales Exhibitions of Local Artists and Artisans

Windows of Imagination is group sales exhibitions connecting local artists and artisans in the old part of Skofja Loka. It will open on the 1st and close on the 30th of December 2018. Welcome!

This year's team: Loški muzej Škofja Loka, Rokodelski center DUO Škofja Loka, Sokolski dom Škofja Loka, Galerija Ivana Groharja, Kreativni center Kreativnice, Knjižnica Ivana Tavčarja Škofja Loka, Atelje Amuse, Rozamunda, Delavnica Mojdom, Turistično društvo Škofja Loka, Trgovina Paleta, Trgovina in galerija Čipke Mojca, Jesharna, Kavarna Vahtnca ter Kavarna in slaščičarna Homan.

Amuse Studio will be open in December 2018:
Mon., Tue., Thu.: 15.00–18.00
Wed., Fri.: 10.00–12.00, 15.00–18.00
Sat.: 10.00–13.00

You are kindly invited to join us for the official opening of the sales exhibitions Windows of Imagination, which will take place on Saturday, 1 December 2018, in the old town of Škofja Loka and will include the following programme:

18.00 A tour of Windows of Imagination in the company of the storyteller Karla B. Rihtaršič and the opening of Flavours of Imagination with a variety of festive culinary delights on offer at food stalls

19.00 Christmas lights switch-on, official opening of Windows of Imagination, a prize draw and a concert by the Moon Time Quartet

Prize Draw

​Collect all eleven Windows of Imagination stamps and take part in a prize draw for a chance to win all sorts of festive prizes every Thursday throughout December and at the Grand Prize Draw, which will take place on 27 December 2018 at the Rozamunda shop. 

The very first prizes will be given out at the grand opening - Join us for the first tour around Windows of Imagination !

7.12. at 6 pm, Creative Hub: A CREATIVE GET-TOGETHER FOR ALL.

7.12. at 7 pm, Cultural Centre Sokolski dom Škofja Loka: PUŠTAL ARTISTS IN ŠKOFJA LOKA – a concert by music teachers of the Škofja Loka Music School and the opening of an exhibition of a group of fine artists from the village of Puštal.

8.12. 3–6 pm, Paleta Shop: CHRISTMAS CARD MAKING WORKSHOP. Obligatory workshop sign-up via email paleta.art@siol.net, in person at the Paleta Shop, or by phone +386 (0)31 734 115 by 30. 11. price: EUR 15/person.

8.12. at 10.00 am, Ivan Grohar Gallery: A FAIRY TALE AT THE GALLERY. Free admission. Organiser: Grable Cultural Association, Creatively Grabbing the World.

13.12. at 5.30 pm, Ivan Tavčar Library Škofja Loka: ART WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN (aged 4–10): A CHRISTMAS TREE. SIGN-UP by 12.12. via email sasa.ambrozic@knjiznica-skofjaloka.si

14.12. 6–7 pm, Amuse Studio: WET FELTING WORKSHOP: FESTIVE SOAPS. Obligatory workshop registration via email anja@musek.eu, in person at the Amuse Studio, or by phone +386  (0)31 855 468, price: EUR 25/person.

14.12., at 7 pm, Jesharna: A PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK and the CD: "CVRČANJE NAD MESTOM" – Agata Trojar poetry reading with the band Tantadruj and a guest – Igor Žužek, a stage actor. 
 
17.12. at 6 pm, Ivan Grohar Gallery: A CHARITY BAZAAR, CROCHETING AND GET-TOGETHER. No sign-up required, free admission. Organisers: Škofja Loka Museum and Institute Three – Breja Preja knitting community.

20.12. at 5 pm, Art & Craft Centre of Škofja Loka: ŠKOFJA LOKA HONEY BREAD BAKING. Sign-up via email rokodelskicenter@visitskofjaloka.si, price:  EUR 5/person.

21.12. 5–10 pm, Cankarjev trg: LUFT, Škofja Loka Craft Festival, a craft fair with the Santa Claus meet and greet, and a theatrical performance; extended Windows of Imagination opening hours (for more information see Facebook and individual artisans' FB pages and websites).
