The Forest Floor
​Exhibition of the Contemporary textile hub Kreativnice
Sokolski dom, Škofja Loka, Slovenia

Four smaller ecosystems are connected into The Forest Floor, each designer's own textile works. Silva Horvat's "Forest Path", in a hand-weaving technique, Anja Musek's "Hidden-revealed", in a wet felting technique, Lili Panjtar's "Leaves" in the technique of dyeing and printing textiles with plants, and Nina Vastl Štefe's "Traces" in the technique of hand-sewing, quilting and embroidery, we recreated diverse forest floors through our own perception and experience of nature. The textile installation invites visitors to enter it and relive the story that the authors tell with their own personal experience.
