June 2020 Amuse Workshops

Both Amuse workshops in March were postponed due to epidemic. Now we welcome you to Amuse Workshops in June 2020:
- Friday, June 5th 2020  - Wet Felt Basics Workshop
- Saturday, June 6th and June 13th 2020 -  Cobweb Felt Scarf

Wet-felting for Beginners

The workshop is suitable for all those who want to understand the process of wet felting, learn wet-felting more in-depth and in the future be able to create felt products yourself.

As the name implies, we will learn the basics of wet felting at the workshop - for beginners. We will create a sitting mat.

We will produce a flat, compact felt product in the desired size, shape and thickness. No zero waste, no pleated edges, no surprises - total control of the process.

We will learn how to properly spread the carded wool, differently lay the fibers according to the desired result, different fibers that can be combined with the wool and offer many effects, etc.

When: Friday, June 5th, 4 pm, duration: approx. 4 hours.

The master wet-felter will guide you through the process of wet felting, presenting different types of wool and other fibers suitable for felting, basic tools and wet felting techniques. You will learn more about the history of felting and modern felting products.

You will be able to use the sitting mat as a warm pillow for a chair or a floor.

Price: 50 eur per person (discounts listed below) - all material is included in the price, bring the product home with you.

With the knowledge gained, you will be able to create many different products at home. This workshop provides a good basis for participating in continuing courses.

The number of places is limited, applications are required (info below).

You will use the softest merino wool in tops, with the ability to add silk, linen, viscose, hemp and other fibers... in many colors, effects and patterns.

You will learn about techniques, possible variations, materials and accessories, so that you will be able to reproduce this technique learned at home.

Price: 70 euros per person
All the materials are included in the price, you will take the product home with you :) (discounts listed below).

The number of places in all scarf workshops is very limited, so sign up as soon as possible and indicate whether you would prefer to attend a morning or afternoon workshop (or both).

Cobweb scarf felting

You can attend this extremely popular Amuse workshop even if you are not familiar with wet felting, since the 'cobweb' technique is very different from the basic method of creating felt.

You will make a beautiful scarf for yourself or someone close to you.

This workshops will take place on these dates:

• Saturday, June, 6th at 9.30 am
• Saturday, June, 6th at 2.30 pm
• Saturday, June, 13th at 9.30 am

In case this there is more interest also on:

• June, 12th in the afternoon
• June, 13th in the afternoon

This workshop lasts for 4 hours.

You will create a unique cob-web fabric that is considered to be the most thin, translucent and soft felt fabric.

15% discount - if you come with a friend (applies to 2 people and more - one invoice)
15% discount - if you attend both February Amuse workshops (one invoice for both workshops)
