Exhibition of Shibori Course Participants

On display are the final works of six participants from the Shibori felting technique course, which took place in March and April at the Kreativnice premises under the mentorship of Anja Musek (Amuse).
Shibori Landscapes are the result of exploring textures, colors, and relief forms offered by wool in combination with this ancient Japanese technique of fabric transformation.
Most of our sessions were dedicated to creating various felt patterns using the Shibori technique. Consequently, each participant produced a personal archive of samples - a "sample book" — a permanent professional manual and a constant source of inspiration.
In the final sessions, we focused on creating a felted painting — a Shibori landscape. Participants drew inspiration from natural landscapes and expressed them through their newly mastered technique.
We concluded our journey with a group exhibition of the created works.
