​Summer is behind us, leading into what many consider the most creative time of the year. This autumn, the Amuse studio is offering 5 different workshops. You are warmly invited to register at [email protected] – spots are very limited.

From Exploration to Woollen Landscape is an in-depth course where, through relaxed exploration of the Nuno felting technique, we create a sample folder and an inspired woollen landscape painting.

You are warmly invited to a creative journey designed for those who want to take their time and thoroughly explore one of the newest sub-techniques of wet felting. In a relaxed atmosphere, we will discover various ways to entrap fabric into wool (and vice versa)—all accompanied by a warm drink, a light snack, and pleasant conversation.

What Awaits Us Along the Way?

• Focus on Sample Exploration: Most of our meetings will be dedicated to creating various felt samples using the Nuno technique. We will experiment with many types of wool and natural fabrics, combining them in different ways.
• Personal Sample Archive (Sample Book / Textile Sample Book): Every created sample will find its place in a binder or sample box—your permanent professional reference guide and source of inspiration.
• The Artwork – Nuno Landscape: We will round off our new knowledge by creating a final piece. Throughout the course, we will design a concept, decide on the composition, and select fabrics for a felted landscape painting.
• Group Exhibition: We will conclude our journey with an exhibition of the finished artworks.

Schedule
7 sessions (5 Thursdays + 1 Saturday + exhibition opening).
For the best experience and the completeness of your creations, attendance at all sessions is recommended; however, the program allows you to join in even if you miss a date.

PRICE: €430 per person for the full module.
The price includes all materials and supplies, including those for the exhibition.

WHO IT IS FOR: The course is designed for adults and youth aged 14 and up who seek an in-depth and inspiring creative experience in small groups.

DIFFICULTY: Suitable for beginners as well as those wishing to upgrade and deepen their wet felting skills. No special manual dexterity is required. Wet felting is a hands-on activity where wool is transformed into felt using water and soap.

MENTORSHIP: The course will be guided by designer Anja Musek from the Amuse studio.

LOCATION: Kreativnice (Spodnji trg 40) and Atelje Amuse (Cankarjev trg 6), Škofja Loka.
