Windows Of Imagination

WINDOWS OF IMAGINATION is a Group Sales Exhibitions of Artists and Craftsmen, and is held for the third consecutive year. A joint endeavour is bringing together 16 organisations from Škofja Loka and more than 60 individuals. Each of them adds a one-of-a-kind piece to the mosaic of everything that Škofja Loka has to offer in December, thus revitalising Škofja Loka's old town.

The sales exhibitions are also a perfect opportunity for visitors to choose from selected works of art, handicrafts, design and unique products, as well as enjoy a variety of events accompanying the exhibitions. The Windows of Imagination venues will be easily recognised by the special festive decorations created by Ana Bassin and Matej Bizovičar.

2.12. at 9.30: NEW YEAR'S BOBBIN LACEMAKING WORKSHOP – CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS at the Čipke Mojca gallery. Obligatory registration: +386 (0)4 515 57 44, price: EUR 20.

2.12. at 9.00: ST. NICHOLAS' LUFt Craft Fair at Cankarjev trg square.

7.12. at 19.00: TALKS WITH ARTISTS: TIT NEŠOVIĆ at the France Mihelič Gallery in the Granary (Kašča). Free admission. 9.12. at 15.00: CHRISTMAS CARD MAKING WORKSHOP at Paleta. Registration: +386 (0)31 734 115 and [email protected], price: EUR 15.

14.12. at 17.00: GINGERBREAD CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATIONS WORKSHOP at the DUO Arts & Crafts Centre of Škofja Loka. Registration: [email protected], price: EUR 5.

21.12. at 17.30: "IT SMELLS LIKE HOLIDAYS – CLAY CANDLE HOLDER MAKING" WORKSHOP at the Ivan Tavčar Library (Youth Department). No registration is required; the workshop is free.

22.12. at 17.00: CHRISTMAS LUFt Craft Fair at the Trg pod gradom square: longer "Windows of Imagination" opening times during the craft fair.

28.12. at 18.00: THE FINAL DRAW OF THE "WINDOWS OF IMAGINATION" GIVEAWAY in Rozamunda.
