​Pisana Loka this summer also in front of the Amuse studio - Creative with the Sora River

The Pisana Loka 2025 Festival will once again brighten up the summer days in Škofja Loka – it will take place from August 21st to 31st, with more than 25 events that combine art, music, creativity and entertainment for all generations.

Three events - for our youngest - called Creative with the Sora River will take place in front of the Amuse studio on August 22nd and 23rd.

WOOLEN BOCCE BALLS - 22/8/2025 at 4:00pm

Join us for a creative adventure for children aged 4 to 9!
After a playful walk to the Sora River to gather smooth stones, kids will return to the studio to craft soft, colorful felted “bocce balls” and play a game or two. Each child will go home with their handmade creation and happy memories of a fun day by the river.

​Let your imagination flow and let the Sora River speak through your hands!
This creative workshop is for children aged 9 and up. After a short riverside walk to gather natural materials, we'll return to the Amuse studio to craft unique felted artworks using wool, water, and found treasures – each telling its own river-inspired story. ​We’ll display the finished wool artworks in a mini exhibition before they head home to decorate your walls.

WATER BOTTLE IN A SWEATER - 23. 8. 2025, at 3:00 pm

Join a creative adventure where the river inspires both our ideas and materials! Children aged 9 and up will explore the Sora River, collect pebbles, and return to the Amuse studio to felt cozy wool “sweaters” for their water bottles. Each unique creation will be part of a mini exhibition before heading home – practical, beautiful, and full of riverside memories.

Registration is required at [email protected] from August 8th until the places are filled. Children should speak English or Slovene. When registering, please indicate the child's age and any special needs, as well as the contact information of the parent or guardian (e-mail and phone number).
By registering your child, you agree that photos and videos taken during the workshop may occasionally be used to present and promote creative events by Amuse studio and the Pisana Loka festival.
